tonight while i was at the movies, someone stoll my multitool out of my seat pouch (i rode my bike to the movies). so now i need to replace it. previously i had a topeak alien. it served me well, except teh plastic locking pieces that hold the boddy together snapped off, no big deal, it still slid together but didn't lock. so now i'm in the market for a new tool. i've heard good things about the wrench brothers one. i don't have disc brakes yet but plan on getting some avids soon, so teh torx will be a nice addition. any other recommendations? anybody have experince with wrenchforce, park, or pedros?

I got a Park Tools multi-tool, its great. High quality tools, they've served me well. Though the one I have doesn't have a Torx, and I have Avids. It really torques me off ::)

I just got a separate Torx wrench to carry with me. Of course since I got the Torx wrench the bolts haven't loosened on my discs...

I've got a Park MTB-3. Nicely constructed, includes a 1.5 mm Allen for your Bomber preload caps in case you ever want to tear down your fork on the trail, plus a Tork T25 for your discs. I would recommend it.

correction: when i said wrenchbrothers, i meant crankbrothers.
side note: tire levers not treally needed cause i carry a seperate set of park ones in my bag.
definite requirements: allens, chain tool, spoke wrenches phillips and flatheads
nice to have included: torx, knife, bottle opener, 8-10 box wrenches

I have the Crank Bros. tool you mention. It's excellent, no complaints. I wouldn't want to have to true a seriously wacked wheel with the spoke wrench on it, but otherwise it rocks.
