Anyone go into Boston to see the Bike Battle? I was there. You can watch the videos all you want nothing compares to seeing it live. To watch Timo and Berrecloth pull some of the things they did was awesome. I was impressed with the trails riders too ,some of the stuff they pull is incredible. What does everyone else think?

I took my kids and I loved it. I could not believe what they can pull off with hardly any room to manuver. I also liked the whole vibe of the competitors and the crowd, although the crowd was a little quiet. (It happened to be on the Freedom Trail. Lots of Fodors books in that crowd.)
FWIW, I think Timo would have taken it if he didn't have the mechanicals, although Chase was on fire and he deserved to do well.

I was there, couldn't see shite. Got there too late. I thought the course was limited and small. Somewhat disappointed till I saw Chases backflip. That was nuts. I liked the setup the year before better. Knuck

I was there armed with camera and camcorder. It was definately cool. Not as much trials as I had hoped for and visability around the course wasn't good due to those damn leaves on the trees!
If you want to check out pics I took, they're on my website:

I've got over 2 hours of video I'm trimming down now with hopes of make a 20 minute video. I'll post that eventually and some smaller clips for those who don't want to download such a large movie... but that's weeks away. Watch the Red Sox for now!

Yeah, no shiot. I've never seen so many $3000+ bikes in the same place. Lots of rich Boston kids with some serious hardware :)
And I got to see the sideways bike guy!
