This weekend I am making the trek west to Indianapolis to watch the world's best drivers in the world's best cars go at it for the World Championship. (Insert sarcastic NASCAR joke here). I can't wait. I've been waiting for this my whole life, seriously. And, we've got killer seats, Paddock Penthouse. On the finishing side of the bricks directly across from the pits.

Anyone else into F1?

OK, I will not insert any NASCAR redneck jokes. In all seriousness, have you BEEN to a NASCAR race? :o Just about every redneck stereotype you have heard comes to life. ;D

Seems like Tony Stewart wins every race I attend.

I have not been to an F1 race, but I would really enjoy that.

I haven't been to a NASCAR race. My brother has though. He got hospitality tent tickets with the Joe Gibbs team. He got alot of things signed by by Tony Stewart. Said he had a great time. If I went though I think I would want to lie down and wallow in it. No Louden, Pocono, or Watkins Glen; I'm talkin' a DEEP south style NASCAR experience. I want to be surrounded by so many red-knecks that I become the stereotype of not being the 'norm. 'Hey D'J'All see the feller wit teef? Mus be a 'Yank' ;)

As a side note they only allow 14" coolers at the F1 race. A NASCAR fan would never make it!

F1 is way cool. I saw Senna race among others at Catalyuna outside Barcelona in '92. Long time ago, but I can still hear the engines shrieking -- and I do mean shreiking at 14,000rpm -- by us on the back straight. We had no ear protection. duh. Anyway, the Indy F1 race is supposed to be great event even though its only been around a few years. Sounds like you are hooked with good seats/credentials. Have a blast and bring good ear protection.
