Hey all you Boston area regulars, what can you tell me about the Roxy in Boston?
There is a show there on September 18th featuring Black 47, the Young Dubliners and 7 Nations that I'm interested in possibly checking out.
Is it a safe area? Can you get in and out via the T, or would I have to drive in and park?
Anyone up for some solid celtic rock on the 18th??? Any CT folks want to make it a road trip?

isnt the roxy on landsdowne street right behind the green monster. the green line is 3 blocks away at kenmore square on commomwealth ave. parking is always risky...... this just in the next nite black47 is playing at the oceanmist in matunuck ri. and nice little beach dive bar. parking is free on road or $7.00 in lot across the street. we go there alot let me know if you need directions or want to get together.

The Roxy is not on Landsdowne Street. It is in the theater district (on Termont perhaps). It is within walking distance of a T stop. I haven't been in a while but I remember it being a fairly big club.

i am showing my age it used to be on landsdowne in the 70"s and 80's. next to a club called spit. its now in the theatre district next to the wang center. it has a parking garage across the street. i am still going to the ocean mist for the friday nite show. i dont know if its closer to where you are in ct. but its much easier to get to.

I dont go clubbing (ok once for baby seals but thats different), but the mass medical center T stop is on the next street. You can get there on the orange line.
The skills clinic make up rain day is going to be on the 18th at lynn woods. 6pm til dark(really dark). There is a good parking garage on the orange line at wellington station. Parking is 3 bucks. T costs a dollar each way. Its easy in and out on rte 99.
think about it
