I have been toying with the idea of a singlespeed for a while. I gave my old bike to my friend's son and now a few years later, I am getting the itch again. I don't have a frame to start with. I see this Monocog and it looks like a great entry level unit. I have read reviews of them and people think they are great to ride. The only downfall is the 110mm spacing in the rear. Anyone have any experience with these things? Should that be enough to stop me from getting one? I don't build my own wheels so I would have to get new ones made with BMX hubs if I need them. Jensonusa has the wheelsets now but who knows 2 - 3 yrs from now. I guess the dealer that I get it from could always help out. Has anyone seen one in RI? They list Providence Bicycle as a dealer. I went to Caster's today and they didn't have any on the floor to check out. They were really busy this morning with all the people coming in to get their bike fixed for their sunday ride.

thanks
