Whoa, hold onto your folding saws, we have trail maintenance this Sunday at one of our favorite riding places this weekend, Henderson Swasey Town Forest, also known as Fort Rock.
This Sunday, September 7th at 9:00am we will be meeting in the Train Trestle Bridge parking area to build a boardwalk with the grant money we received from NEMBA. This is a big project and we can use all the help we can get. If we have enough people we will split into two groups and tackle other projects that need to get done before erosion claims parts of these great trails.
We have some tools but we can use a couple hammers and any trail tools that you feel are worthy of abuse. Please mark your name on the tools you bring so we can make sure everyone gets their tools back.
Wear work clothes, pack a lunch, bring plenty of water for the Trail Care and bring your bike and riding gear for the ride afterwards! Yes, helmets are required for the ride!
