I've posted before inquiring about riding in the Wolfeboro NH area (Lakes Region). This weekend I did some exploring.

I rode up the Caverly Mt. trail and was rewarded with quite a view of the lake (as well as a fast fireroad descent). The ride is not too technical but good for anyone who likes to grunt up climbs for a half hour at a time, which I don't normally like to do.

You can then link to the Devils Den loop for a longer ride.

For your technical fix, you finish with the loop around Knight's Pond...it is tight and rocky.

Each one of above is a short ride (less than an hour) but if you link them together you can get a good session in.

For maps go to Nordic Bike and Ski in Wolfeboro.

Park off Rines Road (Beaver Brook Wildlife sign) near the brush pit. It is all off route 28.

It was a nice change of pace and I still got to ride Ft. Rock Friday am before we left.
