Looking for some riding this weekend? We have just the thing for you!
Paul Chevrette, our trail ambassador for Bear Brook State Park, is leading a group ride this Sunday at Bear Brook.

This route will take us on trails we don't often ride, just to check conditions and mix things up a bit. We may stop in a few places to clear some brush or fall downs but there will be plenty of cruising and these cleanups will most likely be a welcome change in pace.

The ride will be a real mix; some stop and go, hills, technical areas, and generally just riding and looking to have some fun!!! This will be a long mini epic type ride but there are plenty of places where we can point you back to the cars if you need to bail.

Anyone interested??

Meet at the hiker/biker parking lot at 9am. You must pay the $3.00 at the park toll booth prior to going to the hiker biker lot. Pack a snack, plenty of water and bug juice. There will be bail-outs for those who get enough, no one gets dropped!!! We wait for all. And yes, helmets are required!

If you are interested (and I hope you are) look for us at the Hiker Biker parking area this Sunday at 9:00!
See you on the trails!

I was thinking of bungie cording her to my camelback, but my wife thought I was nuts.
She thought Duct Tape would work much better!

Wow, 14 riders, and lots of stories to tell, what a great ride!
One broken bike, one broken bone and trails I haven't been on before. That was a blast!

Thanks to everyone that came out, it was one of those rides that will be remembered!

Best wishes for a speedy recovery Root Can-AL!
