White Mountains

I have 1 week to ride and would like to go Loon/Kancamg Hwy area. Any trail recommendations, places to get map, any other hints. I'll be riding alone, have GPS, and prefer day rides. Looking for something scenic, intermediate/advanced level - singletrack prefered, 30 miles max.
mtbr.com is not very helpful with reviews for this area.

I suggest picking up copies of:

- White Mountains waterproof map.
- Rob Brook mtb map.

Both are available locally in the Conway area. (EMS, Red Jersey, The Bike Shop) Not sure if they sell them in Lincoln.

Call the local bike shops and find out what days / evenings they do group rides. No matter where you ride, only the locals no where the good stuff is. ;)

There is a really fun ride off the Kank that goes up to Sawyer Pond. I think it is about 5 miles one way and all up hill, though not very difficult. The fun thing is a 5 mile downhill on the way back! Most outdoor shops have white mt mtb maps or just ask someone at a shop.
