I am writing a guidebook to bicycling in New England, for a travel book publisher in California, and am looking for someone - preferably with some writing experience - to contribute ride profiles/descriptions of mountain bike rides in Connecticut. It means choosing and riding about 8 or 9 rides of varying difficulty, all around the state, and doing the write-ups according to a pretty specific formula. The pay's not outstanding but it's a great way to share your love and knowledge of the trails with new riders and get a little something extra out of it!
