I am heading up to Mt.A this weekend for the NEMBA Board of Directors meeting and would like to spend Sat. night along with a board member from the Conn. chapter. We were hoping that we might find a nice quiet spot some where near Mt.A that we could park the truck, light a little camp fire and enjoy some malted beverages.
I have the info for local campgrounds but that is really not what we are looking for. Don't need anything special, just a place to camp for the night (a view or a lake or river would be nice however). Now, I must know at least a dozen places near my house that would fit this bill so how about giving up a little local knowledge for a long time NEMBA volunteer.
Oh, and we are definitely, leave no trace, pack it in/out, clean up after yourselves type campers so don't worry about your secret spot getting trashed.
