Two friends and I drove up to North Conway this Sunday. Radair took us out for a great ride- up to Whitehorse ledge and down to the Moats area. Weather was good, riding was spectacular! Thanks for showing us around Rob!

The pleasure was all mine. It's always nice to give the tour of one of my favorite rides. Good crew of riders you brought with you - I like their attitude. Nice photos, too.
Keep in mind, Dr. Toddski, that we barely scratched the surface of the riding in the immediate valley. Lots more to show you on both the east & west sides. Therefore, you should plan to come back up.
The August 16/17 trail building weekend will be a blast; no bugs, good BBQ bash, great riding. justbill, did you have so much fun last year that you're coming back for more? If not, can you vouch for a good time?

I attended last year and it was by far my most memorable and best weekend of the year. We did a great trail project on Saturday, then the great folks folks of the north treated us to a fantastic BBQ and party. Sunday was an epic ride and I even got to see Z do her floor gymnastics on the trail, at speed! I met a bunch of great people.
Too much fun to put into words!
I would be back again this year but it is right around the time our new mountain biker is due.
I encourage everyone to attend at least one of these events, the folks in the Whites sure are a great group to hang with and the riding (and swimming) is fantastic!

Len - thanks for those very kind words, it means a lot coming from you. I don't think Z wants to repeat her break dancing routine - not on the bike anyway....
More importantly, congrats on your newest addition!

I did have fun last year. Wait, was that the weekend when we carried 200lb logs 3/4 mile and placed them in 2ft of tick infested mud in the 90 degree heat then finished off with a plunge into ice water rapids littered with pointed sandpaper rocks. Was that the weekend I rode up the cathederal rock ledge road for 2 hours then decended at brake smoking tire melting windburnt knees speed because i actually wore shorts
(last time ever). Was that the weekend i rode for 5 hours on Sunday up and down the side of a mountian wondering how i got so old and why i negleted to take advantage of the 1/2 way bailout.
I guess if i can swing the time off from the familly, and avoid the local roundball court i could see my way to abusing my health and well being for another White Mountian Adventure, as long as a meal is provided.

bill, that is so close to the truth I'm crying as I write this. Can't stop laughing.
This years event will be much easier, will only be breaking up 3,000# boulders with a sledgehammer and moving the rock a couple miles through a jungle of poison ivy.
But the ride will involve no driving; we can hook into the trails right from Z's or my house. Hope you can make it.
