Sunday River DH

Next weekend (last weekend of June) is the opening for Sunday River DH. Anyone planning on going? Both my wife and I are looking forward to giving it a go with the new DH rigs. Hopefully the extra time before the opening ahs given it time to dry up a little.

Did anyone make it up to SR for the opening weekend? Conditions were great as it have been super dry in ME lately. It was a little on the warm side but not too bad. Great day Saturday.

This was the 2nd ride on the new DH bike (Intense M1 w/ Avalanche rear shock and Boxxer Worldcup). What a difference. I felt like I was ripping stuff that I was timid on before. It also made drops to steep feel like a sinch. I was able to clean stuff I'd never come close to in the past and found myself riding new stuff with quite a bit of confidence.

We got our season's passes and are looking forward to a really good summer of DHing.

Sounds like a blast! I saw a green truck with 2 white DH bikes on rt. 62 heading North on Friday around 12:45??

It was an excellent time. Planning to hit it again on Friday and maybe Sunday (in between lots of work on the addition to the house).
