How much is this bike worth?

My brother is trying to sell a '93 Gary Fisher Paragon. Its a hardtail. Mostly early 90's XTR rim brakes, decent rims, XT cranks and cassette. Its in excellent shape - some very minor scratches - no dents. Probably weighs in the 24 lb area. It does have some corrosion on some of the bolts on the seat clamp and headset. Has a real POS Answer Manitou shock on the front.

My first idea was - boy that's a light bike, nice parts its got to be worth over $700. After the first folks looked at it and laughed, I wonder... I suppose it does look somewhat dated, but to my eyes - not that bad.

Any ideas?
