View Full Version : Any Trail Riding (specific criteria) in New England
June 17th, 2003, 10:20 AM
Hey Guys and Gals,
Does anyone know where there is any trailriding in New England. More specifically I would like twisty singletrack with rocks placed symmetrically just so my wheelbase (42.2') and my Conti 2.3's can navigate perfectly. Also, the climbs should be moderate grade and not too long but I need plenty of fast flat and downhill sections. Some small drops with clean landings. Not too crazy cause I got my 100mm fork dialed in and don't want to get it all out of wack. I will also need a detailed map with a guarantee that I will not get lost.
Oh, and it has to be 2 miles from my house.
Can anyone help? Hopefully cause if not this area sucks for riding, politics suck, weather sucks, everything sucks.
Let me know. I won't ride until I have the above.
Oh, one more thing. I don't like bugs so there can't be any of those.

You forgot to add that it needs lots of parking close to the trailhead so you don't have to "Ride" to get to the trails.

Well I thought long and hard and I must admit that my riding demands are somewhat unreasonable.
I've decided that I will ride with the bugs. I have sensitive skin but I think the Skin So Soft lotion with deet should be ok.
Will this open up more opportunities for me?

Goodpoint Gungy! In fact, I would prefer ample marking for my sweet late 90's Swedish Hot Rod.
You should a carport at the trailhead is too much to ask for? That way no sap would get on my car.

So basically you're saying you have a full time job and a prosperous career with a great family and you need something close by so you can freeride during your short periods of free time that usually falls from 6-8pm on weekdays? I understand dude.

I'll concede to your huck off. Since you are doing 2 fters (almost) and I am 1.5 fters you would win and you are superior. ;)

Homey is a wimp and thus does not participate in airbus travel at 500 mph in a tin can death trap. No thanks. I know there is some freeriding to be had in the central MA area and If I don't find it, I'm gonna build it. BUILD IT. Oh and I'm up to 3' ers now, ok and by the end of the Summer if I don't die, I'll be up to 4' :o knuck

Plus, what is with you and competitions. First AA and then NOO. Would you really want to go 0-2.... ;D
Good luck on the Freeride search...as far myself...I ride the trails...plenty of technical stuff around me in NH.

yo yo yo man. No offense taken. Yeah I blew it with AA, but I'm still up for a huck competition. I'll tell ya what. I got this 10' or so huck at Green Hill Park in Woosta. I'll huck it first as I know you or no one in their right mind (not that your mind is quite right) would do it and you can watch me bleed to death. Aight? knuck
