As many of you know I had back surgery in February. Well what I didn't tell you is that I arranged it (yes, Knuck with the government) so that until I was physically able to ride again noone else would easily be able to either. I have had late spring and early summer on hold for about 2months now. Well friends I am here to inform you that we are all on the cusp of great climatic change. I got my new Kona Dawg frameset a couple of weeks ago and I have been accumulating the neccesary parts to build her up(pictures to come). I hope to have her all ready by next week. To top it off on Tuesday the Doctor just gave me two thumbs up (and a few disclaimers and cautions) and told me I was free to go back to "full-normal activity". So, I have called "The Government", NOAA, Mr. Freeze, and The Weather Channel and told them to turn on the warm weather for next week.
I'M READY TO RIDE!!

Bravo!
That's great news Gung.

If it's sunny more than 2 days next week, then you get all the credit. If it rains more than 4 days, we're coming looking for ya... and ya Kona too! ;)

Actually Knuck,

I'm seriously toying with the idea of a Sinister Ridge build-up this fall or early winter.

Though I use to do it years ago at the LBS I worked at (yes I worked at an LBS) I have no clue how to do it now. I'm sure it's fun if you know what your doing. which I don't have fun there buddy. PORN, don't forget. knuck

Be sure to build your wheels with love. If you find you are a little lacking, just give me a holler and I'll give you a big ol' bear hug. I promise to keep it above the equator (although the Christmas goose may come early this year)

WOW!

An appearance by the illustrious Big Game!
THANKS!

I've heard that he's made such good use of the weather this spring riding his "Road Bike" that he actually won a race this evening.

In case you missed it,

BIG GAME WON A RACE!!!!

Now granted this is on a "Road Bike", and I'm guessing against some octagenarians because, he lapped the field solo TWICE!!

Way to go Big FAME!! I guess somebody's happy with the weather I created this Spring. ;)

Are you being sarcastic or serious? Because if you are serious, I may have to take some more time off and drive up to NH.

Check out this link for our "wonderful" extended forecast in this part of CT: http://weather.yahoo.com/forecast/USCT0249_f.html

Not too encouraging now is it. I guess it's good weather to unpack crap in though.

Oh, we've had some rain, but it's dry today. Some of those storms stay south and don't touch us at all. Unfortunately, that also means we sometimes miss out on snow too.
