As long as the weather cooperates we are planning a big-old SS ride this coming Thursday night. 5:45pm start at my place in bedford. 30+ miles offroad.
Let me know if you want details.

To everyone who missed out (and that would be just about everyone here save PK and Hogboy), the ride was a true (mini) epic. We ended with 34 miles, all but a couple of which were in the woods. We were out for over 3 hrs and almost made it home by dark ;)
I think that I'm still tired from the ride.

Ride is on for tonight, 5:30pm, will try and bust the 34 miles of last week's ride. SS only.
We'll be hucking all the sweet, secret stuff an we won't tell Kruckle-dragger or TwoTimer about it ;) BTW, this is a 34 mile, all downhill coaster type ride with no bugs or mud and log bridges and drops w/ sweet trannies as far as the eye can see (that's why we use SS' as they are lighter and roll faster on all the downhills).

Well, 4 of us completed the ride last night, all on SS. It turned out to be 35 miles and we had about a 3:15 ride time.
As expected it was all downhill and there were lots of jumps and hucks everywhere. No pedaling involved ;)

We were in a roaming bug-free blackout zone all night and there was ample offstreet parking to be had (w/ valet service and a complimentary Simonize)!

Sounds great! If it weren't for the fact that the ride is one gear and 35 miles I might show.
Plus there is no good SS riding in MA.
