Same for some at Lowell/Dracut...Got to tell you I'm pretty sick of the stuff too, would like to see 2-3 days of nice weather in a row each week. I'm not much of a "rain rider" but if this keeps up i'm gonna have to go for it. It bothers me to think that once this sh%t is over it will turn 85-90 degrees and humid. Hum, where did the spring go?

Exactly Oldman !!!!!I would like to hear a group prayer for at least one decent weekend day. I am begining to think God is a management type who likes to twist our tails with some nice days during the week then wham!!!! Every weekend the crying game!!!!
BOOOOHOOOOOHOOOO!!!!!!!! All right thats off my chest. And yah I wont melt and I will ride in the rain if I have to but it tends to be harder on the trails so I have been trying to avoid it.

Well let me tell you about the rain. It's part of the goverments economic stimulus package to stimulate the economy and here is the thought process involved. The government is directly involved in all this rain. The goverment has paid off the ailiens with natural gas (which ironically is in short supply) in turn for them to talk with God to turn on the rain. Why you ask? Because when it rains, people stay inside. People don't drink as much and people don't hurt themselves as much with outdoor activities. So in a nutshell, people don't have fun; people don't hurt themselves; people have no excuse not to go to work. The economic stimulus package at work my friends. Oh and as far as Spring, it's gone. Fall, it's gone. There are 2 seasons in New England, Summer and Winter. Winter lasts 8 months and Summer lasts 4, 3 of which it rains every day. NEW ENGLAND is the next Seattle my friends. The suicide rate will rise. GET OUT WHILE YOU STILL CAN. knuck

Knuck,

You aren't a card carrying member of any Montana para-military organizations are you? You remind me of Patriot radio when I was living in Colorado.
Now I picture Knuck as one of those preparers for the apocalypse that have 80,000 gallon septic tanks buried in their yards filled with weapons and canned goods.

Everyone's bitching about the rain, but I've ridden four times in the last eight days, rain free. You've got to to take advatage when there is a window of opportunity!

I hear ya man. Government stimulus package or not, I've ridden like 8 time too in the last week. As long as it's not downpouring, I'll go. Government ain't gonna stop me from riding. As far as guns. I don't believe in them actually. Don't own any, except the AK-47 in my attic with the case of loaded banana clips. ahem. don't believe anyone should own any besides law enforcement officials. Anyone care to start a debate/arguement on why the citizens "Right to Bear Arms" should be abolished?

YUP! The only thing that sucks is having to clean your bike after every damn ride. I live in an apartment, so I have to get the hose out of the washroom, drag it outside, unroll it, hose down the bike, roll the hose back up, drag it back into the house, towel off the bike, lube it, then do it all over again after the next ride. It's a pain in the ass, but I hate leaving my bike covered in mud. She needs LOVE! ;D

It's muddier now than it was in March.

I'm not riding until someone tells me the trails are safe and dry.
I'm all about the wilderness environment.
Riiiiight.

Truth is... I have ridden in the rain more than not lately. I pretend I live in Oregon, and enjoy the rain forest rides.

I say we all write a letter to the government. Or how about this. We tell them we're still gonna ride in the rain which will actually increase the chance of injury. They will be sure to hate that. Knuck

Just hose her off after a muddy ride. Then dry it with a leaf blower. Every little drop gets accounted for. Just be careful around the spoke hubs so you don't blow all the grease out. Oh by the way....rain tonight, rain tomorrow, rain saturday. The government is relentless.

Hey, I've heard that when you actually blow dry your bike, you can actually blow water INTO the bearings and such. Now that's something to think about. OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOO :-X :-X :-X :-X :-X
