Any of you dudes fish?
I remember AA does.
The striped bass bite is picking up. A buddy at work told me the herring were running thru the Charles river. Last night I caught 3 stripers wading & casting big swimming plugs.
I'm thinking of taking a few days off later in June to meet some friends on the cape to striper fish from kayaks. June is the hot month for Striper fishing in close for Mass anyway.
Any of you guys into this sort of thing?

I'm always interested in fishing. I have some time off at the end of June, begining of July and could posibly make it for some striper fishing. Keep me posted.

Will do AA.
Your tin boat sounds ideal for Boston Harbor Islands and North shore (Essex River). Ever put it in the salt?
I used to have a 12 foot tin boat and would put in at Hull gut. Caught many stripers just trolling a tube and worm combo out there.
We'll talk more over a beer in NH, AA.

the only problem with my boat is the lack of valid registration. I only use it in the river near my house so I have no problems with the authorities. If I wasnt so lazy I could get it registered, I dont think you need a title for a boat that small.

:)
Yup, that's a lil problem.
I understand tho. My last tin boat was so old there was no serial # or make info. So I had to cart the dam thing over to Hingham boat yard for inspection, and 3 trips to the regisrty later I was legal. What a pain in the ass that was.
That's partly why I switched to a kayak. Just simplifies life.
I can go anywhere with no worries. No fees...no boat ramp...no "motor won't start"..and high adventure.... on the ocean anyway.
I'm babbling now... but we'll get out there some day.
Even if it's just the local b*******. ;)
