Valuable lessons:
Here's one I learn recently.

If you leave your cylcocomputer on your bike while washing it, eventually it will stop working.
"Note to self.....duh!"

Here's another....
If you neglect to wash your gloves, they can actually knock you out when you smell em.

Any other valuable lessons out there?

Yes, my gloves are reaching that state right now. They have the ability to stink up my whole car if they've been sitting in there all day. I think its time to wash them.

I wash the gloves after every ride. I have two pair in case one has not made it thru the wash before the next ride. The stench is just too much for me to endure. (My wife keeps a pair of salad tongs near the washing maching in case she needs to move any of my riding stuff.)

Can anyone suggest how to get the camlebak from smelling? I peridically throw the hole thing in the washing machine but can't seem to get the smell out of the pads and straps where they come in contact with my back and shoulders.

Plus Who Left there gloves on the roof of the van last night, because he was afraid to keep them in the cabin with himself. then After I picked one off of the road , you still left the other one up there !

Speaking of gloves.. If you spray bug juice with deet onto your full finger Fox gloves and then wipe your face with the back of your hand- you will be wearing multicolor Indian war paint. I did not know this until I got back into the car and saw Geronimo staring back at me in the mirror!
