On Saturday, June the 7th, the Merrimack Valley Chapter of New England Mountain Bike Association (NEMBA) will be meeting at the Trotting Park Road entrance of the Dracut State Forest at 9AM. We will be cutting approx. 1 mile of new trail that was flagged this past weekend. This is one of 3 or 4 new trails planned for the forest this year.

There will be a free lunch and ride afterwards. If you think that the Dracut State forest doesn't have any "cool" trails, then this will be my opportunity to prove you wrong. For more information call:

Brief update and directions for Saturdays trail day at the Dracut state forest. Totman road not Trotting Park road is the better entrance to the forest for this new particular trail construction. For those who have asked for directions...

Get across the O'Donnell Bridge (School Street) in Lowell.
(This bridge has construction and is reduced to two lanes)
Follow straight through. This is Mammoth Road. (McDonalds will be on the left)
Follow Mammoth Road approx 1 and 1/2 miles to fork in the road with traffic lights.
Bear left at fork. This is Nashua Road.
Totman Road is the first left after about 5 or 6 houses.
