Splat gave us the grand tour today. My wife munched her rear der. big time. It looked like it got devoured by T-Rex and came out it's butt. I don't know what she did. Thanks to splats quickness and my chain busta he made her into a ss for the ride back. Lots of mud, but nice ride. Sore as hell. Thanks Splat, I finally saw the NAM and yes, it kicked my arse. I'm sore. Splat however is like a speed demon in that place. He's the man at the nam. Of course it doesn't hurt to live 100 yards from the entrance to the trails. Thanks Buddy, we'll hook up again soon and maybee that rat bastard SloJoeMo will come. Make sure you put up some pics to prove that I actually DO ride my bike. Knuck

Haha....good for you guys.
Looks like you nailed that drop, knucks. ;D

Yea, I joined IF_Rider for a spin thru the Nam earlier that day. Certainly pushes my skills chasing that guy around. ;)
It's all good.

Thanks man, I was surprised how high I went. I think I might have got 13" on that one. Felt like I was in the air for an eternity. Someones gotta do the big drops though. Might as well be me. ;D

We had fun and slomo did some nice dropoffs that I wish I had a camera for!!

The day ended badly for me though as I discovered a crack in my Enduro frame while washing my bike :'(

On the plus side, it should be covered by Specialized and I may end up with an '03 frame. (in White :()

Looks like I'll be riding the HT for awhile.

my wife had a disaster with her derailleur. She twisted the thing where no derailleru has gone before. I don't know what she did. she was single-speedin it all the way back with the chain falling off every 50 ft. I must be rubbing off on here as at one point she got so pissed she ghost rode the bike off the trail into the woods. :o
So with the derailleur and the chain busted it was about a $50 day for us. Fun anyhow.

It was a beautiful day. I know it was neither my wife's nor the stick that went through her derailler fault. I love my wife and I love the woods, I love everyone. I can buy a new derailler online tomorrow and then wait patiently until my friend the UPS guy brings it to me. Even though my wife's chain kept falling off I didn't care and neither did she it was such a great day and a good time with BizarroSplat, Mrs. BizarroSpat, Mrs. BizarroKnuckle, and BizarroKnuckle'sFriend.

You got to be kidding! Where's the crack? Think it was there before the Sat ride?....That's wacked!

What do you make of that, Mike?

Not sure when it may have happened. It's a hairline aboute 1/2" long right at a weld near the shock mount.

I'm on my way to the LBS right now. I'll try to take a pic before I drop it off.

Are those 2 black lines the cracks, or are they pointing to the crack along the weld?

The crack was pretty hard to see. I told you it was crappy photography but forgot to mention the crappy editing too.
