Does anyone know of any Mt Biking near Lake Sebago in Maine - My brother just bought a place there and I am looking for some good riding in the area.
Thanks

Yo, it's a BIG lake. What part of the lake or town is he located?
There's some really good riding in the Raymond area (north end), I know there's lots of ATV trails around Baldwin (southern end), and suspect you can find trails pretty much anywhere in the area.

I spent a lot of time in that area when I was a kid. My aunt owned a house in Naples at the north end of the lake. It was a long time ago but the north west end of the lake was pretty much undeveloped once you get away from the lake. There were tons of dirt roads, fire roads, and hiking trails in the area. There is Middle Pond State Park with ATV trails. Plenty of marshes, streams rivers, mountains etc to explore. There is a wildlife management area as well but I forget its name. Slightly further west is the white mounains in NH. You can check with the White Mountain chapter to see if they have rides over your way.

Head south down 302 and stop in at Sebago Outfitters in Windham. It's on the right (west) side when you are heading towards Portland just as you enter Windham. Ask about:
- River Trail Along the Presumpscot
- Prides
- Atherton Hill
You can find limited info about these places here:

Oops! Sebago Outfitters is on the LEFT side of 302 as you head south and enter Windham, not the right side. :-[

As you enter North Windham on Rt 302 from Portland, there is a light, and Rt. 115 on your right. Take Rt. 115 and then ON YOUR LEFT, will be Sebago outfitters. Speak with Jon Kibler.
Also, check with Bruce Chapman, who's a Nemba member, lives in Raymond, and will point you in the right direction. bchapman@1firsttech.com and bchapman@maine.rr.com.
