I went on an exploratory jaunt one afternoon last week, and found the trails about 90% OK, with a few get-off-and-walk spots.
There was ample evidence of don't-give-a-**** riders, ruts, tracks, and eroded berms, and, to my disappointment, but not surprise, some of the boys had been out cutting down small trees - not ones that were blocking the trail, mind you, but the ones you have to use some finesse to get past.
The same crew just can't stand to see a log across the path, but they also can't be bothered to clean leaves out of a wet spot or clear the ditch that's supposed to drain it.
In a few years, I suppose they'll take up a collection for a small bulldozer and some paving gear... ::)
