Good to hear that things are happening up Jay way. Got any specifics for your bridges project: date/time...rain date...
need tools or expertise.... etc?
Also i'd recommend posting a notice to the VMBA and Kingdom Trails websites, when you have specifics...

Thanks for the e-mail back.We are actually opening the catamount trail from Jay Pass to Jay Village to MTB this summer. The bridges (5) will actually be build between the Shawllowbrook development to Lucier's farm We might even be able to comlete the trail from the pass to Montgomery. If so you will have a 15 miles high altitude trail for 15 miles

We also had the okay from a large land owner 4000 acres to use the trail system on his property for MTB


I also put together a 55 miler MTB race July 27th 2002 check it out www.jaychallenge.com

Dan--I live in the Boston area but spend some time off at our place in Elmore. I am interested in helping out as much as I can, especially when it involves the Cat. Trail., which as you know passes through Elmore.....Please send me more info as the season approaches and I'll make plans.
