has anyone had any experience riding a weyless 67? it looks pretty similiar to the bullit. if you buy the complete bike for $1900 through supergo(http://www.supergo.com/itemdisplay.asp), you get the new manitou swinger shock (the manitou version of the 5th element). if you get the frame only or the frame and fork you get a Rock shox pro deluxe. the pivot appears to be in the same location as the bullit. i'm looking into a good valued FR frame to build up once i save up some money. the frame alone with the pro deluxe goes for $700. i'm more interested in hopefully supergo soon offering the frame and swinger shock alone. the frame is easton RAD tubing according to the description. i don't know if this is knockoff RAD or what (i think sinister posted something on busted spoke about there being alot of knockoff versions of RAD). from my knowledge, the bullit frame retails for $1150. just looking for some input. the ironhorse SGS series looks like a nice value too if anyone has any experience with them

Hey Yeti, it got a real good review in one of the mags I read, although supergo is a major advertiser in that mag. I think it might have been MTBAction. The bike has a sticker that says Easton RAD tubing on it, and the ad for it says Easton RAD tubing, so I'm sure that's not a lie. I'm sure Easton would not appreciate that. I think it's a decent deal it you ask me. I wouldn't get it with the boxxer race though. I'd buy the frame, toss the shock, get a 5th element and a Boxxer team of course that's gonna bring you up around 2200 bucks, or you could buy my bike for 1800 bucks. Used about 3 rides. I'm getting rid of it to build something else. The frame was checked at Bicycle Alley, Worcester, MA where I purchased it. If interested, email me and I'll give you the rundown on all the parts and stuff. It's worth well over 3k. Knuckle

Knuckle,
That Gemini looks pretty sad hanging out in the basement after loosing it's prime spot in your bright orange "boom boom" room. I hope you can find it a new home where it can be kept in the luxury it had become accustomed to.

Another "budget" choice is the Jensonusa.com "craftworks" FRM125 @ $675 with vanilla rc. Have some good things before about the frame and almost bought one myself. I'll look and see if i can dig up the info. Others will hopefully respond pro or con for you also. Another "budget" avenue is Pink Bike buy/sell forum. Bought 3 frames with great results in the past 6 mos (ie, didn't get screwed) But, I wouldn't discount Knuckle's deal, hard to beat for a full turnkey FR rig
