Here's a shot of the finished winter project (well, one of them at least). It's actually my wife's bike, not mine. It's pretty sweet though.

Those ARE DH tires, just light weight ones ;) 2.3 Tioga Factory DH.

no self-respecting DH tire has a kevlar bead or a sidewall flimsier than a kleenex.

Weight still matters, especially rotating weight! Besides, need to be able to pedal this thing up as well as down. Lifts are for pansies ;)

hey - i've lugged the beast around under my own power @ lynn.

i just wanna know why cathy needs a big travel bike for rides not involving a chair lift. ::) :P ;D

we gonna see her on that thing @ nam? :)
