I am so fed up with the media, not including FOX, and their continued attempts to undermine and discredit everything that is being done on the war front. CNN, ABC, NBC, CBS, the New York Times, The Boston Globe... all of them. Yesterday's Globe propaganda was an absolute outrage. The war is going poorly, the protests are somehow big news, The coalition leadership is in disarray... a bunch of crap! No matter how many times Rumsfeld and the generals continue to dismiss and deny that things aren't going as expected, that the war will go longer than planned, even though from the very beginning it was never stated that it would only last two weeks. Yet, question after question, the elitist left media continue to try and shape an image of the conflict which is completely contradictory to reality. Thanks to FOX for being the only network with the balls to actually present the truth. What a concept, the truth.

Cheeze, I agree with you 100%. Fox News is terrific, but every other news channel and newspaper is just pissing me off. Even the Hartford Courant is caught up with the left-wing propaganda garbage. Watching and reading all that crap, you'd think we were losing this war.

At least I know I can watch Bill O'Reilly at 8:00 to make me feel a little better about things. :)

This media coverage thing has been driving my wife and I up a frigging wall also. I mean I am so sick of the media trying to make a story were there isn't one. After the war is over I will bet you the media will be pissing and moaning about how there is this air of hostility towrd them from the military. I believe the one big mistake the military leadership has made has been the unbelievable access they have allowed the media to the front lines. I don't think the american public needs the live coverage of the action we are getting. Speaking for myself I don't need 5 min updates about what is freaking happening on the lines. Ontop of all that it has to be a major distraction for the troops....Jean and I have been rooting for an Iraqy sniper to take out one of these goofs right in the middle of there stupid frigging question.

And Bravo to NBC for canning Arnett what a frigging scumbag we have guys dieing out there and he is giving comfort to that regime.

I had questions about why they were doing this from the start but now that we are there we have to finnish it.

My wife was reading an article in the Boston Herald to me the other day about the peace marchers. Seems there is this BC asst. proffesor who is at a peace rally calling for a million mogadishu's claiming that this is the only way to get us to mind our own buisseness in the world and then he say's if you are a patriot you are a white supremist. WTF lets just toss this guy and his holly opinion out and see how many countries he really wants to live in.. I mean we all have opinions but some times some people have to much stupidity and ignorance but not enough common sence !!!!!!! I Jaysus Christ believe in the war or not but obviously this guy has no friends or family members serving
or he would not be making such head up his ass hate filled statements. Slso has he ever looked at what happened in Somalia???? We lost 18 people but the Somalies had 1000 casualties. Yah we lost but......you no what we were trying to help the people once again.

In the long run I think we do need to mind our own bussiness but.........that is after we finnish this fight and we will.

And I am a Patriot.......And this or any other fool can read into that what they want.
I love this country and want nothing but the best US!!!!!!!!

I'm also pissed off, and living 20 minutes from Northampton, all I ever see are idiots in anti-war protests. Nothing has ever made me happier then watching a bus-full of violent and destructive anti-war protesters in hand-cuffs. They are so hypocritical, how the hell can you be ANTI-WAR and be violent, law-breaking, and just flat out annoying?

As for the news, I gave up with those idiots long ago, and because of it, I really don't have a clue wants going on in Iraq.

Finally some good news! I am so glad they rescued the POW! I've been staying out of all this War discussion because it does hit a little to close to home. You see my brother-in-law is a Army Ranger who specifically works closely with Delta Force and the Seals. We have had absolutely no clue where or what he is doing, but you can bet it's nasty! When I heard the news last night about the POW rescue I jumped out of my pants! Who knows if he was involved with the rescue, but it sure sounds like it! I hope he put a couple of extra rounds into those bastards!

Have an Airborne day Ranger! ;D

I know the feeling dude. My bro-in-law is on the 1st expeditionary unit, marines. He called about a week and a half ago. He could only talk for 5 seconds, saying he was fine then wispered ever so softly he was 30 miles W of Baghdad. Makes you think when the media tells you that they are 100 miles from Baghf*k and the reality of it is they are much closer than we think. Also, the war plan we see on the news makes no sense, but it is a carefully choreographed endeavor that we can't understand. It's sure to be a bloodbath in Baghdad. Hopefully much more Iraqi blood than our troops. Knuckle
