I took a walk into the Oaklands side (north side of rte 101)of Fort Rock yesterday....from the parking area ou to the power lines....looping around on the red trail...and found an interesting mix of trail conditions. The usual wet places were bogs....but there was much more trail that is ripe for riding than I imagined. There is still some sections with several inches of snow and the muck...but with a week of drying the trails would be in the good shape (bummer about the rain last night and today). There were a couple of treadmarks on the trails.....and I did encounter a lone biker.....give it a bit more drying time and then let the fun begin! ;D
