How rideable is it now?

Word is that it's ridable though low lying and typcially wet areas are still muddy or even underwater. These of courrse should be avoided.

Parked on Birch Mtn Rd between Gay City Park & Case. Trails on Case are eminently rideable! Not too wet, little mud on the Blue/White trail there.

Gay is a bit wet. Carried the bike in 2 or 3 places on the loop out to Blackledge Falls.

For those concerned about mud & trail conditions:

I believe my bike was CLEANER after riding at Case then it was before! Yes, the prior weekend was a mess...

Case in in great shape. A few balck muddy sections, generallly avoidable. My big complaint is that there are too many leaves from last fall still on the ground makes it very slippery and slow. The trails need some more traffic to clear the crap off. Do me a favor and get out there and ride I'd really appreciate it

I noticed the same at Snip this weekend (see post below). The leaves are not composted at all and are still all over the trails. Not our usual winter I suppose.

Also that algae goes away with more riding. I know I did my part to wipe away some of that algae this past weekend at the Snip. Of course I used my butt to do it, but whatever.

I'll be doing my part to knock down those leaves.

The leaves are still so thick and undisturbed that at times it is easy to lose the trail in less traveled sections.

Hoochi-Koochi,

You blowing it in your attempt to share the Case trail section closure (probably the Blue Trail reroute anyhow). You are probably cutting and pasting the active url for your secured account on webshots. this matches a cookie on your computer. Take a close look at options on this page to send an open url via email (send it to yourself and then copy that to the forum.
