Here is whats open and what should be avoided so far:
Open: All trails north of Rt. 165 and east of Frosty Hollow Road. Breakheart trail and Pauly's Trail (also know as rock trail). All trails south of Rt. 165 in Bald Hill Area. Dovecrest trail may still be soft in some sections (have not checked yet)
All other sections of mt tom not listed below. Arcadia Trail. Most of the trails that run between Barber trail and Old Ten Road Road (runs next to Rt. 165) except Mt. Tom. ;D
Closed (my opinion!): Powerline trail that runs along the west side of Frosty Hollow Road. Most of the trails that run between this trail and Shelter Trail. Shelter trail. The section of Mt. Tom from the Wood River parking lot to Mt. Tom Road. Mt. Tom Trail on north side. :o
Some areas still need to be checked such as the ledges and over between Arcadia Road/Browning Mill Pond/Rt. 95, which I will do this afternoon. Overall things are very good considering the long wet winter. Check out some of the other state ride boards to see how good we have it this early in the season!! Will post back tomorrow. Enjoy...
