Who's going to Farmington on April 13th? Think it'll be really muddy or just a little?

3 or 4 of our group are doing the fat tire april 13th race..

winding trails is fairly sandy... so it shouldn't be too muddy.. we will ride the course a few days before the race... I can let you know if you want.

we're still looking for a few sport racers and a few beginners to join our "team" ... the team competition looks like fun... info on the smartcycles web page.

I think there will be a lot of dirty spray, but no actually deep mud. Also, yes, I am going.

I'm thinking about going. Anyone live near Farmington who can report on what things are like down there after the storm last night?

I'm in Avon, the next town over. We got barely three inches of snow overnight. I would guess it will be long gone by the weekend. Ditto the sandy soil comment from above. There might be a few muddy spots, but overall Winding Trails should be fine.

Hartford only got 4" of snow and weather for the week is supposed
to be in the 40's and 50's. Winding Trails is a mix of sandy and
pine-needley, which drains well. However, there is one mud-pit
that ate a girl's shoe at last year's Hi-Tec race.....
