Wanted: Rock Skis

OK, so the ski conditions are not quite primo but I still want to get a few day in before the end of the season. I used my rock skis today (205cm traditional GS racestock). A few years back I went to shaped skis and guess what, traditional skis suck!

Anyone have a beater set of shaped they want to part with cheap? Something around a 180cm plus or minus 10cm or so. I have a perfectly good set of Marker race bindings that I can mount up so I just need boards.

might be alittle longer than you are looking for but here goes.. i have a set of 1997ish? solomon 8E 2S Equipe approx 200cm long (at that time they had the "power system") these are PR8's with Tyrolia free flex bindings set up for a 12 boot (forgot what eu size that is) very good cond, really to big for my style so i didn't use them much. these were sort of crossovers at the beginning of the shaped craze. $40.00... interested takers?

That's just about the same as what I have now; Rossi Excess Course 205 w/ Marker M41 Race. I'm running 186 Salomon Pilot 10's for my good skis and found it hard (and not much fun) going back to the Rossi's ;)

Yeah, i guess i can relate to that. My reg skis are Elan psx tsi's at approx.185 shaped. I haven't even gone back to the solomons to try, just remember how good the Elan"s felt the first time. Maybe i can find old old school speed freak who would like them? Actually they do turn realitively well just have to "on" all the time and i'm to laid back for that...Bob
