Well , I took a little stroll into the Nam today. and it was with great restaint that I did not grab my bike and go.! I will be a Good boy and wait.
Well I was very surprised by the conditions. Yes it was WET ! , all the creeks and streams were Flowing and very difficult to cross on foot ( espically with a 6 year old ). and there were some Larger puddels. But the Trails themslevs were what surprised me the most . most were pretty clear of snow there were ones that were WET , and I mean they had water flowing down them. But the ones that had No snow on them ( and not a water flow going down them ) were very dry and firm.
But I did see some damage already done to the trils , I counted at least 4 different sets of Bike tires , fortunaly the damage from them was not to bad ( at least what i saw ) , The picture I is pretty close to the worst I saw.
what I saw that did concern , me was that from the dunster road side a Quad had entered, He did not go very far in the swap is really really high and they did not want drive throught that ( i don't blame them). and the few yards he did drive , really left marks. so what concerns me is the motor cycles and Jeeps that go over by the power lines, they tear up the trails pretty bad when its dry, it must really be a mess now.
