There are proposals before the legislators to cut all funding for open space, eliminate 64 DEP jobs, possibly close parks. If you care about the places you ride, please contact your state legislators and speak your mind. The state parks have made much progress in the last several years, and once the open space is gone, it is gone forever. There is a bonding issue for Huntington State Park to add 160 acres. This is prime riding territory and would allow a sweet loop through the north end of the park. Friends of Huntington State Park need your help!
