Park Serve Day at Great Brook Farm State Park

  Sixteen volunteers can make a difference. At Great Brook Farm, they worked hard -- building a new trail in the park for all visitors to enjoy.
The new trail replaces a badly eroded trail, and thus the project also entailed making the other trail disappear so it could return to the wild. Hard work, indeed. Yet everyone had a great time and everyone seemed especially pleased to be giving back to this park. There was a great sense of accomplishment in making the park a better place, and having some pizza and going for a ride afterwards wasn't bad either!
