Training crew leaders from around the region increases NEMBA capacity to build more trails.

Building un obtrusive technical trail features on the sides of trails, such as this rock ramp, provides the challenge that many riders seek.

Block and tackle makes moving the 2-ton boulders in place a bit easier!

There's no shortage of rock to build fun stuff in New England; the challenge is moving it into place.

The motorcyclists approve.

The school designed a quarter-mile trail reroute around a steep fall line trail.

Groups used clinometers to measure the grade of the trail in order to create a sustainable trail that can withstand both water and users.

There was a LOT of benchcutting, removing the organic matter to create a tread surface made of mineral soils.

Groups analyzed the multitude of problem areas on the Hodges Village Dam trail system

Sometimes boardwalks are essential when crossing senstive wetlands.

The group re-routed the trail and installed a 20 ft. bridge

After the boardwalk was constructed, the mudpit was closed off. This is the same view as the photo above. Hard to tell, eh?
