The
video awards was the kick-off gathering of the season.
It was great to see old friends and meet new ones... and
get psyched for another great season of riding.

Bill
Lazdowski (looking like a lean, mean, riding machine)
catches up with cycling writer, David Alden

The playing of Jim Ioannidis' "Seek
out your bliss, a tribute to JD" was the one poignant
moment of the event. As a tribute to a fallen rider, Jim
simply wished to show the video and not enter the awards
competition, a class act and a wonderful film.

We're
all kids at heart, eh? Here's la familia Splat,

IFRider and Evil:Bota.
In the green t-shirt, Brian McInnis

and are helping to build mountain bike culture rider by
rider.

Ride

a tasty, spicy evening.

and at one point during the evening, he made a personal
donation to NEMBA out of his own pocket. ...very cool,
eh?
