This organization promotes mountain bike access world wide and supports over 600 organizations like NEMBA. Their new website is a great resource for all types of mountain bike advocacy.

The Northeast Bicycle Club is a USCF racing club in Boston's northwest suburbs.

New England Naturalist Training Center (NENTC)
NENTC offers unique, hands on ecology focused environmental education to a
wide variety of groups and the general public.
 
AMC Worcester Chapter
Promotes the protection, enjoyment, and wise use of the mountains, rivers, and trails of the Northeast.
 
MASS Maps
It allows you to look at almost all the data in the state's Geographic Information System (GIS), on the web. It will probably be slow through a modem but you can check out USGS maps, aerial photos, and all kinds of stuff.  
The Cohos Trail
The Cohos Trail, when it is fully completed, will be a 150-mile long remote and wild trail in northern-most New Hampshire.  
Dirt Rag Magazine
DirtRag's a good MTB mag with a lot of stuff on the north east and has some columns written by NEMBAs.
